Millwood trade announced.
After Maddux acception arbitration, Paul Byrd was signed, and Russ Ortiz was aquired from the Giants, the Braves had one too many quality starters. In need of making a salary dump, Kevin Millwood was the odd man out and was shipped off to the Phillies in return for a AAA catcher. Braves fans expecting either the Crime Dog Fred McGriff to return to the Braves or Cliff Floyd coming to Atlanta with the huge salary dump. Both players signed contracts with other teams. Now the Braves are looking for a trade. Possibly with the Expos. Looking to send Javier Lopez, Marcus Giles, and Wilson Bettimet to the Expos for Vladimir Guerrero and Stan Javier. This would be huge for the Braves. With the rotation set, an extra catcher, and Derosa starting at second. This gives the Braves a superstar outfielder, which would put Chipper Jones back at third and move Castilla to first. The Braves would have an incredible hitting lineup. Defensively the Braves would be unstoppable. An incredible outfield. Castilla and Jones are incredible corner infielders. Derosa is starting because of his glove. Furcal once broke the thumb of Andres Galarraga because of how hard he fired it to first. Braves are going to look to seal up another Division Championship.

The Next Jordan
The NBA Draft is pretty much over. Trades are still being made, but everyone knows where Jay Will will be staying. Everyone has compared him to Michael Jordan, and being on the same original team, his number close to the same, also being named NCAA Player of the Year, and leading his team to a 2001 NCAA Championship season, who wouldn't compare him to Jordan. Although Jordan will not be matched, "Jay" Williams will do his best and this could be the start of another Bulls dynasty. While being put on the worst team in the NBA. This kid doesn't know how to loose and i don't think he will start to learn how. Jay Williams is the ultimate team leader. Alongside veteran Jalen Rose and highschool star Tyson Chandler, the Bulls may have a fighting chance.
