The Wizards are looking good.
After the draft last week. One team I think really came out on top. Although the Bulls secured Jay Will and the Rockets Yao Ming looks to be the big man on campus this year. The Wizards came out on top this time I think. If Jordan comes off his injury the Wizards will be top contenders this year. With White and Haywood ruling the center position already, Jordan taking care of the Small Forward position, Richard Hamilton taking one guard position that leaves the need for a power forward and another guard. By drafting Jeffries in the first round the power forward position is filled. And now by drafting Maryland star Juan Dixon, the Wizards are set. If these rookies can stand up to the NBA level I say the Wizards and Lakers will show down in the Finals. After the poor draft picks the year before, Washington knew what to do this year. The previous year, Washington gave up the opportunity to pick up former NCAA Player of the Year Shane Battier. This pick would have allowed Jordan to play the shooting guard position and the chance to have a better overall starting team. This year the Wizards are fully loaded, now the only problem is getting Jordan back into playing condition.

Collins is happy with his picks.
Grizzard, Jeffries, and Dixon look to have a big year for the Wizards.
Warriors look to battle the other half of California with 3 draft studs.
Logan, Dunleavy, and Welsch look to help out the Warriors while contending against big California rivalry's like the Kings and the 3 time NBA Champs Lakers.
